MB Artists in New York

I got to spend last week in New York with these amazing people!  Every few years, my agent Mela has an MB Artists party.  Illustrators that she represents come from all of the country and the world to New York for a whirlwind week of meeting with art directors, editors, designers and team members at some of the country's biggest publishing houses.  It was an amazing and intense week.  I am so excited about the opportunities that came out of the trip, and grateful to be a part of this talented group of artists who were my family while I was out in New York.  Check out these photos for a peak at some of the highlights from the week!

"You Are Your Strong"

Look at what came in the mail - My advance copies of "You Are Your Strong" from Magination Press!  I am loving the metallic treatment on the cover! This title, which is about finding strength within yourself, will be released in the spring of 2019.

Friendship Catalog

My agent at MB Artists just released our newest promotional catalog, themed "Friendship".  Check out the artwork by this amazing group of illustrators!

Now and Then

Check out MB Artists' newest promotional catalog.  For this collection, we all created pieces themed "Now and Then".  My piece includes a cameo of my great grandfather.  Miss you Papa Mario!  Hope you all enjoy these beautiful illustrations as I and my fellow illustrators bring a little bit of nostalgia from memory lane to our pieces. 

"Something Happened In Our Town"

 

I am excited to announce that my newest title "Something Happened In Our Town: A Child's Story About Racial Injustice" will be released next week by Magination Press.  I hope that as children are asking questions about current events across the country, that this book's ultimate message of reaching out to our neighbors in friendship inspires children to be a light in the world. 

You Are Your Strong

 "Publisher's Weekly" recently announced my newest book deal with Magination Press!  Look for "You Are Your Strong" by Danielle Dufayet in the spring of 2019!

Gold Medal

A big "Thank You!" goes out to the Mom's Choice Awards for awarding "Did You Hear: A Story About Gossip" with a gold medal!  Such exciting news to start off the week!
